Guysborough Transfer originated in 1948 with just two employees. Located in Queensport, Nova Scotia, the one truck operation serviced Guysborough County shipping general freight and fish. In 1958 Guysborough transfer relocated to Dartmouth to accommodate for the growing demand in shipping services. Located next to one of the largest shipping ports in North America; the Port of Halifax, has allowed Guysborough Transfer to expand by shipping and receiving overseas.

Equipped to Fulfill All Your Shipping Needs

Currently we have 30 trucks, employ over 50 workers and use our 10,000 square foot facility and modern fleet to ship items throughout all of Canada and the US. General shipping services include containerized goods, flatbed and dry van loads. We also cater to our customer's needs by providing services for any specialized shipping request.
