Guysborough Transfer originated in 1948 with just two employees. Located in Queensport, Nova Scotia the one truck operation serviced Guysborough County shipping general freight and fish. In 1958 Guysborough transfer relocated to Halifax to accommodate for the growing demand in shipping services. Located next to one of the largest shipping ports in North America has allowed Guysborough Transfer to expand by shipping and receiving overseas.

Currently we have 22 trucks, employ over 35 workers and ship throughout the Atlantic provinces and Quebec. General shipping services include containerized goods, flatbed and dry van loads. We also cater to our customer's needs by providing services for any specialized shipping request.

Over the decades we have continued to grow and expand thanks to our loyal customers. We have improved our equipment, facilities and services to accommodate our customer's demands. We believe our customer first approach has been the key to our success and has helped us get to where we are today.
